Join members of Zion Baptist Church and Beth Am Israel for our annual Shabbat of Interfaith Harmony.
Spirited music by the Unity Choir at our Friday night and Sunday morning services.

In order to make this day a spectacular success, we are collecting the following items which will support some of our projects.
Can’t make it to the Day of Service? You can donate items starting on January 2 to the appropriate bin in the MLRT vestibule.

​*Unopened trial-sized toiletries    * New school supplies (backpacks, pens, pencils, paper, crayons, etc) ​
*Gently used children’s clothing, pajamas, and winter coats (sizes newborn-adult medium)
* Gently used shoes (sizes 4 infant/toddler-adult 10)     * New kids underwear     * New kids socks
​* Cleaning & paint supplies for WePAC (click here for the list)

FRIENDSHIP BRACELET MAKING
Starting at 10:00 am | MLRT Hausen
Appropriate for adults and families with children age 6+ (cost $5)
Make friendship bracelets and take a moment to show support for Israel! Proceeds from this project will be donated to Hand In Hand, an organization in Israel that is building inclusion and equality between Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel through a growing network of bilingual, integrated schools and communities.

SALAD MAKING
Starting at 10:00 am | MLRT Upstairs kitchen
Appropriate for adults and families with children age 10 +
Participants MUST sign up to let us know which ingredients you are bringing.
Food insecure families need healthy food options. Join fellow congregants in preparing salads for the Ardmore Food Pantry and Narberth Community Food Bank. For questions contact, Liz Stoller at ljstoller@gmail.com.

TOILETRY SORTING & PACKAGING

Open to children and adults
Sort all the wonderful trial sized toiletries collected from our congregation, make a cheerful note to go along with the goods, and then put them all together in an attractive package to benefit Laurel House and the Life Center of Delaware County. CRADLES TO CRAYONS MOBILE WAREHOUSE CLOTHING SORT

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL BACKPACK STUFFING FOR FAMILIES FORWARD HOMELESS SHELTER
Starting at 10:00 am | Outside Morganroth Sanctuary
Appropriate for Religious School aged children
We will stuff backpacks with school supplies that have been collected by the Religious School and will contribute them to the shelter where children may not have all of these basic supplies. For questions, please contact Rabbi Kleinman at kkleinman@mlrt.org.

BAKE SALE

Off-Site Activities

SAUNDERS HOUSE
Meet at 100 Lancaster Ave, Wynnewood at 11:00 am
Join our Junior Jammers at Saunders House to entertain and visit with the residents. All ages welcome!

BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CLEANUP AT GLADWYNE CEMETERY (Weather Permitting)
Meet at Temple Beth David at 9:30 am
Volunteers are needed to help maintain the Gladwyne Cemetery. Volunteers will meet at Beth David for an introduction and then walk over to the cemetery to rake and clean up. Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended.

WePAC JAMES RHOADS SCHOOL LIBRARY SUPPORT

Appropriate for adults (16+ teenagers are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult)
WePAC seeks volunteers to help deep clean bookshelves, paint walls, hang peel and stick wallpaper, have fun and do good! For questions, contact Karen Richter at karenlrichter@gmail.com.
Due to space and instructional constraints, participants must arrive by the start of the activity to participate.
