MITZVAH PROJECTS

Judaism teaches us the importance of tikkun olam, or mending the world. For many, that involves volunteering to relieve suffering, care for the earth or raise awareness different issues. To be a Reform Jew is to hear the voice of the prophets in our head; to be engaged in the ongoing work of tikkun olam; to strive to improve the world in which we live. We can volunteer to help members in our own community, organizations across the country, or raise awareness on social issues all over the world.
