About Us

Main Line Reform Temple-Beth Elohim (MLRT) is a vibrant Reform synagogue located in Wynnewood, just outside of Philadelphia. We offer programs that span all ages and interests, allowing each member to develop, practice, and rejoice in Judaism through egalitarian worship, education, and service to others.

Our congregants comprise an eclectic, diverse and welcoming community – singles and marrieds, with or without children, blended families, interfaith families, LGBTQIA+, and people with special needs.

Whether you are new to the area or are a long-time resident, we invite you to browse our website and reach out to learn about our many programs and activities that meet diverse educational, spiritual, religious, and social needs.

We Are Committed to Lifelong Learning

MLRT is proud to provide a compelling variety of educational opportunities for our congregants at every stage of their lives. Our Early Childhood Education program hosts a preschool, a full-day Kindergarten and programs for the very young. Our Religious School provides an enriched, hands-on Jewish education for children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our expansive Adult Education program provides an exciting array of educational and social opportunities for all adults.

We Are Committed to Tikkun Olam (Repair the World)

A commitment to social justice and social action are core values of MLRT. Tikkun Olam—our effort to repair the world—is our obligation and permeates our activities throughout the ECE, Religious School, TheTribe,  Brotherhood and Sisterhood, and other adult groups. Join us for one of our monthly meetings where we share our progress and plan new work, for one of our events or browse our list of community partners to find your own personal or family project.
