One of the best ways to be involved with TheTribe is to be one of our madrichim. Being a Tribe Madrich/Madricha at the Main Line Reform Temple’s (MLRT) Religious School is both a mitzvah and an honor. Some of the many ways your help is needed include (but aren’t limited to): tutoring students, assisting teachers and staff and working with students with special needs. As a madrich/a you help our community pass Jewish heritage onto future generations. All of us at MLRT thank you for taking this step toward having a meaningful impact on our children.
To be considered, a prospective madrich/madricha must be:
1) Post B’nai Mitzvah and in the 8th grade or higher
2) Your family are members of MLRT
All madrichim applications will be processed by Ross M. Levy to determine the appropriate grade assignment and will be required to participate in periodic instructional seminars that run during Religious School hours by TheTribe Board and Ross M. Levy.
All prospective Tribe Madrichim must submit an application each year in order to be considered, whether or not they have worked in the Religious School previously. Applications for the 2023-24 academic year are due on September 5, 2023.
