MLRT Connects

MLRT Connect Groups are a terrific way to get to know a small group of people well. Formed around shared interests, each group consists of three or more people who decide on the frequency and location of their gatherings and activities.

MLRT Connect groups are meant to inspire us, foster deeper relationships, and add joy and meaning that enhances our lives. Join in and meet others with similar passions and interests.

MLRT Connect groups reflect our community’s myriad interests, so whether you love books, movies, cooking, stimulating conversation or even just a cold beer with friends, we’ve got a group for you.

SHABBAT MORNING HIKE
Saturday, March 12 at 9:00 am Haverford College Trail
Celebrate Shabbat in nature with your MLRT community. Meet Rabbi Geri Newburge (with your masks!) at the Haverford College Condominium, 700 Ardmore Avenue, for a beautiful and invigorating winter walk. Park in the 300/400 sections- all the way in the back (where grey and beige buildings meet); visitor parking is along the wall.

Contact:  Rabbi Newburge or 610-649-7800.

KEEPING IT REEL: ZOOM MOVIE DISCUSSIONS
Monday, February 28 at 8:00 pm – Power of the Dog
Get your popcorn ready to discuss these Netflix movies on Zoom with Rabbi Newburge! A domineering but charismatic rancher wages a war of intimidation on his brother’s new wife and her teen son — until long-hidden secrets come to light.

Join us on Zoom!

BEER CLUB
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 20 | 7:00 PM

Tired Hands Fermentaria, 35 Cricket Terrace, Ardmore
Let’s enjoy a beer learning experience hosted by a member of the Tired Hands team. Congregants are responsible for their own tabs. Beer Club is open to all MLRT members who enjoy trying and sharing beer.

Plots Available in the MLRT Section at West Laurel Hill Cemetery

Cemetery plots are still available for resale to MLRT congregants in the MLRT section of West Laurel Hill Cemetery. The cost of a single grave is $4,500, which is the same as the cemetery charges the public if bought directly, and includes perpetual care. If you purchase through MLRT, $500 of your $5,500 purchase will go to MLRT as a charitable, tax-deductible donation. If you or your family members are interested in purchasing plots, either within the next year or at the time of actual need, please contact MLRT Executive Director, Amy Krulik, for more information or to arrange for selection and purchase.
