Message from Rabbi Mollo:

Shalom MLRT!

My name is Rabbi Eric Mollo, and I am beyond excited to be your new Associate Rabbi beginning July 1, 2024! I am originally from State College, PA, and I am a proud graduate of Penn State University with degrees in Communication Arts and Sciences and Jewish Studies. I am the child of Philadelphians who proudly raised me to be a Philly sports fan, and it is a real comfort to know that I will finally be living among fellow Phanatics. My parents and elder sister, all native to Philadelphia, found their first spiritual home at Main Line Reform Temple, the same congregation I am now privileged to join. This Temple holds a special place in our family’s history. It was at MLRT that my father, Thom, of blessed memory, embraced the Jewish faith through conversion. It was also within its welcoming walls that my sister, Alyssa, received her Hebrew name, marking an important first milestone in her Jewish journey. My mother, Holly, also lent her voice to the Sisterhood Choir. Joining MLRT feels like a homecoming for me – a heartwarming return to a community that has been integral to my family’s story.

Currently, I serve at Temple B’nai B’rith in Kingston, PA, where I work alongside my spouse, Rabbi Carolan Glatstein. We are blessed with two children, Izzie and Rosie, and Trinket, our beloved pit/beagle mix rescue dog.

Thank you to the MLRT Search Committee, the MLRT Board, and the MLRT Senior Staff for your trust in allowing me to join your holy congregation. May we go from strength to strength!

Peace, Blessings, and Fly Eagles Fly!

Rabbi Eric Mollo
