We continue to be inspired in our giving to charities by the values of our Jewish heritage: practicing charity and justice, repairing the world, and performing acts of kindness and compassion. “From generation to generation” bridges these values. Among the more than two dozen charities which have received our support in the past include the Abramson Center for Jewish Life, the American Diabetes Association, the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, Doctors Without Borders, MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, HIAS PA, The Free Library of Philadelphia, and Camp Harlam.
All proceeds from this year’s Annual Golf Outing, sponsored by the Main Line Reform Temple Beth Elohim Brotherhood will benefit organizations advocating children and adolescent education. Let us heed Albert Einstein’s observation that “it is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
For expression and knowledge to flourish there must be organizations dedicated to achieving that goal; Brotherhood will seek out those organizations validating our values.
Your participation in this year’s golf outing provides the means for such organizations to continue their essential work.
So join us for a day of golf, a day of fun, and an opportunity to help others.
All are welcome!!
