MLRT On The Move is BACK!
Tuesday, November 15 – Bus leaving MLRT at 9:15 am

Tour the Philadelphia equivalent of New York’s famous Lower East Side. From the 1880’s through the 1920’s, Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe populated the area bounded by Spruce, Christian Street, Second, and Sixth. There, they created a vibrant community with its own Yiddish Theater, literary societies, and newspapers, along with synagogues, banks, bathhouses, and delicatessens.

Join us as our professional tour guide brings the Quarter to life with views of existing buildings, old photos, and entertaining anecdotes.
